Sunday, most of us here in the US lost an hour of sleep. I say most of us because as far as I know Arizona doesn’t participate in Daylight Savings time. This made Monday morning especially fun for The Bean and I.
Last night in general we couldn’t fall asleep at all. In fact when it would have been 8 at night for us, we were trying to fall asleep by watching a documentary on English castles and sipping Sleepy Time Tea, coaxing our minds to relax and adjust to the time change.
Sunday I also went to the store to get things so we could make Samoa Shakes with some of our extra Girl Scout cookies. If you haven’t tried one of these, you need to get your hands on a box of Samoa’s (only available for sale for 1 more week!) and make a batch.
While at the store though I noticed that there were Bunnies everywhere. Chocolate bunnies, stuffed bunnies, eggs and my personal favorite…
Jelly Beans! I bought two bags and brought them into work today, and now I’m thinking it wasn’t such a great idea to put a bowl of them on my desk.
Easter is just around the corner! This means with cookie season ending I can finally start working on those weekend getaways that I’ve wanted to do with my girls! There are two places we are considering to start with:
Snoqualmie Falls is one, and the other is called Desperation Falls. With all the snow melting here in the Pacific North West (PNW) it would be a great time to go see these natural beauties!
We have seen multiple falls on Mount Rainier but nothing like these. Snoqulamie kind of reminds me of Horse Shoe Falls at Niagara, only not as grand.
Which location do you think we should visit first? Let me know in the comments section below!
