Let the Planning Begin!

We have somewhat settled on a date for our next Adventure to Walt Disney World (selecting a month is a pretty good start right?), and recently we started purchasing gift cards to fund our little venture!

So that brings me to the first major decision we have to make in regards to our trip:  Where to Stay!

Since I’ve never stayed at a Moderate Resort and I’ve always wanted to go to New Orleans, I picked out Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort.  Just look at those pictures from the Walt Disney World website!  All of the buildings for this part of the property look like antebellum mansions!  I have heard nothing but good things about the on property table service restaurant (Boatwrights) as well!

The Wilderness Lodge!  I’ve stayed here on every previous trip to Disney.  The pool and it’s two hot tubs are amazing!  Whispering Canyon Cafe is a blast with really comforting food and never ending shakes for days!  I also love the proximity to the parks, arriving “home” via a Friendship and walking down the dock to the resort was very soothing.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!  Take a look at that pool that’s designed to look like an African watering hole!  The great thing about this hotel (other than the pool) is if you pay a little extra you can get a Savannah view room that lets you wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching animals graze.  I’ve also heard great things about their Buffet style restaurant: BOMA.

Decisions are always a difficult thing to make!   Soon I will be posting a poll and asking those of you reading so you can vote and help me decide where we should lay our heads for the duration (8 nights) of our stay!
